Components of a typical roof system utilizing LiveRoof modules.
- Building structure, new or existing.
- Roofing material, usually new but can be existing.
- Loose laid inorganic membrane (root barrier).
- LiveRoof modules. (A LiveRoof module is the prevegetated plant
material, growing medium and tray. Grown
locally, modules can be custom designed with many
mature plant varieties- groundcovers, flowers, grasses and vegetables.)
- Optional hardscape integration and traffic surfaces.
Design Services (Adaptable for each project)
-Modular system/hardscape/irrigation design, material specification, 2D/3D graphics.
-Structural system analysis (roof, wall, foundation), retrofit design (if necessary).
-Roof covering system analysis, design (if necessary).
-Environmental improvement statement including energy use and water management.
